Privacy
Here's what happens to your data on this site and in the products, in plain language and without dark patterns.
This website
Most pages on this site are static, and the site does not require sign-in. Your browser and the site's host record standard technical logs, such as IP address and user agent, to serve pages and keep the site secure. If a message form opens your email app, you send the email from your own account. I only receive it if you choose to send it.
Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly the public pages load and respond. The site sends the public page path without query strings or fragments, so values in a form URL stay out of these measurements. Collection runs on the production site and skips missing pages. It does not read form fields or use cookies.
Contacting me
If you email or message me, I use your message and address to reply and to help you. I don't sell your data.
When the product support form offers online submission, Vercel delivers your email address and report to a private GitHub repository. Reports are routed to the relevant private project and are not posted publicly. If the form offers to compose an email instead, it opens your own email app and sends nothing until you choose to send it.
The products
Each product handles data on its own terms. Here are the main ones:
- Cover Letter Generator keeps your resume in your browser. To write a letter, it sends the resume text and job posting to a third-party language-model provider. Code Stage servers store neither afterwards. The extension requires no account and uses no analytics SDK.
- Relationship Tracker asks for explicit consent before storing anything, keeps data in the EU, shows it de-identified in admin tools, and lets you delete everything permanently with one command.
- Unity tools run inside your own game or editor; they don't send your data to me.
- Yarrtifacts has its own account and privacy terms on its site.
Your choices
You can email hello@codestage.net any time to ask what's held about you or to have it removed.
This is a plain-language summary. Where a product has its own in-app terms, those still apply.
